Peace
UPDATE.....First of all let me say thank you to everyone who sent thoughts & prayers our way. I've never seen a medical miracle in my 42 years on this earth until this week. The first 3 days were scarry they took her off the paralytic medicine and brought her body temperature back to normal and she didn't respond for 2 days. Saturday we were in the ICU waiting room and her nurse came in with tears in her eyes and said "You guys need to come see this". They let us all into ICU to see her (usually they only say 2 at a time) and she was awake and alert and nodding because they had 2 tubes down her throat she couldn't talk. Today they took the tubes out and she's gone from being comatose with 11 IV's to sitting up in a chair today talking. Doctors are amazed at her progress in only 5 days. She's still very weak but there is no brain damage and they might need to put a defibrilator in her but they expect her to make a full recovery. Today we and the doctors told her what happened in detail and she thanked her husband for saving her life and we were all teary eyed, even two doctors. This week was a very humbling experience for me....I'm exhausted personally....it was a crazy, scary rollercoaster ride of emotions I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Her doctors say her type of recovery is a 1% chance so we consider our family one of the luckiest on the planet right now. I'm just happy because a 6 year old won't loose her mommy. Christmas came early for my family and it's the best gift we could have ever wished for.
Thanks to everyone guys!
Lotsa love & prayers from me to youinz
