I don't know what you're talking about. I'm 42 years old and I've had sex plenty of times.

What for? They haven't done anything yet, except maybe send the Democrats in Washington a message, which the donkeys won't get. Maybe these guys will
actually keep their campaign promises. Boy, am I an optimist. I distrust the Republicans only a little less than the Democrats at this point. I think
McDonnell & Bolling (who goes to church with my brother) have become to centrist. I do like Cuccinelli. Met him a couple of times at Republican
functions. True conservative for now. But McDonnell and Bolling started out that way. Power corrupts.
I was more interested in the Conservative Party candidate, Hoffman, in the NY house race. Republican candidate dropped out an endorsed the Democrat over the Conservative. If that is where the Republican Party is now, I have a tough time supporting it. On a national level, I think that win will embolden the Democrats more than loosing VA and NJ state houses. The truth is that a conservative candidate getting 45% in any election in New York is probably a huge victory for conservatism.

He was right. Obama lied. All politicians lie. It becomes obvious every time their lips move.

Hoffman indeed was more liberal that his opponent, but was decidedly more conservative that the republican that dropped out of the race. If Hoffman is a
straight up guy, this is no win for the Obama administration as the media is trying to spin it.
As for Virgina, and as a Virginian, this was a good evening for the Commonwealth. I have a real good friend of mine, a member of the house of delegates, as well as the chairman of the republican cacus. We talk quite often. We have some severe challenges ahead. The revenue shortfall due to the recession is going to result in some nasty painful cuts in state spending to prevent us from becoming the second coming of California. It's called living within your means. I know, that is a foreign concept, but there are consequenses for not doing so. Our State senate does not share that opinion, so it's going to another battle royale when session starts in the spring. California from what I understand is upping the amount of witholding from paychecks by 10%. This acording to legislators is not a tax hike, as people will get the excess witholding refunded. What they are not calling it is what it is, a manditory interest free loan to the state. Brick : Since you've seen it from the ground zero, All I can say is the problems we have with our government is the ONLY consistent bi-partisian product they offer. Are they all crooks. No. Are they all liars. No. Even you will have to agree that there are some honorable folks working for us in Richmond.

Dave, the politicians I most admire in Virginia is Bob Marshell, Steve Martin, and Randy Forbes. Virginia's fiscal irresponsibility began with George Allen
(R). The effects of his spending habits carried over to Gilmore (R), Warner (D - author of the largest tax increase in VA history), and Kaine (current DNC
chairman). The economy covered up a lot of Allen's poor choices. Virginia's first elected black governor, Doug Wilder (D), was the last fiscal
conservative to the hold the office. Say what you want about his personal habits (using the state helicopter to visit Mrs. Kluge in Charlottesville), he did an
excellent job of cutting fat out of the budget and keeping the state a float without laying off a single state employee.
The first thing I would do if I was Governor would be to repeal Gilmore's stupid car tax plan, and give taxpayer's real broad based tax relief.

Agreed on Forbes, Martin, and toss my buddy Sam Nixon in there too. Spot on comment about the economy covering a lot of bad policy decisions.

Marshell can be a bit over the top sometimes. I have not had enough dealings with Nixon.
I just hope McDonnell gets the message that we were voting for less government.
