just wanted to thank everyone that was concerned about my mom in my time of need. she passed away july 2nd and we did the funeral gig yesterday.
 
on a good note! i no longer have to worry about my piece of sh.t ford taurus overheating on its way to the hospital in mcallen,tx.

its like losing sb xxx times ten...
you know i had a yellow rosary that i had painted with marker every other yellow one with black. it was my steelers rosary that my mom used daily to pray with this church lady on tv. she lost it at the hospital in the city transfer to another city.
atleast the tears got me this sweet new black n gold rosary from the church lady giving the speach...... she said i can tell your in deep pain and want you to have this after she was done and told me her mom died a yr ago..........it could pass for a saints rosary but im calling it my new steelers rosary!! yay! |

hey hoosier. when you lose a close one sometimes people shy away from you or wait for someone to start with their condolences.... its like i got the plague.
this one cowboy fan that has a polamalu jersey as one of his fav. players sometimes comes up to me in a reg shirt today . he tells me hes sorry about my mom and offers if i need anything? i tell him that my mom was suffering so shes better off in heaven....he tells me oh she was suffering? well then shes way better off ...and with the way obama is scre.wing up the country who isnt better off dead?  i was like that sure came out of left field but just lauged a bit.
a wtf momment but he sure remided me of you.

it seemed on most game days my mom would want me to get her something to eat mainly at churchs chicken while the steelers game was about to start.
 i had to go cuz shes disabled to a wheelchair.

she would cook for me daily like if i was still a kid. i knew she was going to pass away i had a vision in my head then she came out with her kidneys were
failing. i offered my kidneys but the dr said she was beyond transplants. i spent each holiday with her and got her something special. when she was in the
hospital and couldnt get gifts in ccu i printed out a little bear that said happy st patricks day. she broke down in cried with happiness. with a piece of
paper worth no more than a dime.
i remember her not able to afford me a new bike but got me some new g.t tires for my bike. i was so happy just to have new tires on my old mongoose bike. about a yr ago i told her if she could lend me money to see vince neil and she knew i was a huge crue fan growing up. she gave me 60 bucks. she had never gave me that kind of money before, especially to go see a dumb concert....i had the time of my life at that concert and kept telling her how she made me feel that day. id watch tv with her on my days off only to have my jealous brother tell us like isnt that sweet...ahhh... little did he know me and my just ate from restaurants and didnt give him nothing... when he went to work my mom would send me for our own dinners and give nothing to my brother...

brother and his girlfriend dont believe in bills,cleaning and would eat everything. my dumb brother kicked his girlfriend out after my mom got sick. he should
have done that when she was around...who knows she might not have had that heartattack that set of the chain reaction. i still hate him for that well that and
leaving me all the responsibility of bills. lol you should read my moms guest book of what i left...
http://www.legacy.com/gb2/default.aspx?bookid=6214946981509 my mom was very good at managing her money. im a failure but im trying. i tell you one thing her wheelchair is pretty comfortable. i and my nieces or my daughter like to sit on it and my dog uses it as a head rest in between mag tire spokes........i think hes suicidal or something. that poodle dog sure loved my mom though.... no one could get near her without the idiot barking like crazy,. hope you work things out before its too late... sounds like that wedding day sure left a major grudge...

G,i have not had much time to check in here lately and was hoping your Moms was better but was worried since you hadn't posted much lately either.I know
how much you love her,you even said you would marry her....Only you could say that and everybody here understands what you meant and why you said it.
Without a doubt bro you were one heck of a son to her,all it takes is reading your posts about the two of you and Ya'lls relationship to know that.She loved you so much,thats why she cooked for you like you were her little boy until she was unable too anymore.I read every word about you and her you posted since i been here and i can say theres no two people on this Earth who cared more for each other than you and your moms... She is waiting for you in a far better place my friend,i promise.And when you join her you two will laugh,cry,and love one another even more than you can imagine.You have so many fond memories of her she will live on with you here until you join her in Gods Kingdom,remember all those times and smile brother..... comfort in the fact that she is in a far better place and is in zero pain. my prayers are with you. celebrate her life...it will make things easier for you.

Please know that your in my prayers and thoughts and I wish you the very best during this tough time. It is not easy losing a parent, been there and I know what got me past the hurt, sorrow and sadness is knowing that they are in a much better place, starting their life they so much deserve. You did well for her Tommy ....... You did the best you could and that is all one can ask for, you know. Stay strong and know we are here if you need us ... for about an hr. then dissapeared as quickly as it came. scared me...sometimes i hear stuff at our house like knocks or my name then wake up
and freak out...then i get happy hoping its her back at home and i just smile.
